The system consists of two tanks (product recovery and re-dosage) equipped with a continuous level probe and built completely in stainless steel. These tanks are also used for recirculation in the deviation phase and for the closed cycle plant cleaning.
A dedicated booster pump keeps the product circuit overpressurized with respect to the unpasteurized product circuit.
The multi-section heat exchanger pasteurizes and then cools the inlet product. The heat cycle varies according to the characteristics of the product to be pasteurized.
Generally speaking it includes a pasteurization stage, a first cooling stage before the filling to cool the product up to the filling temperature by means of heat recovery, a final cooling stage, in recirculation from the filler, through the circulation of tower and/or glycolated water.
The tubular heat holding system is able to ensure a holding time that is suitable for the desired flow rate. It consists of pipes connected to each other and housed in a stainless steel support structure.
The pasteurizer is supplied with the hot/overheated water preparation and circulation system that is built completely in stainless steel.
The electric panel is centralized and it operates and controls all the equipment.
It consists of a Siemens S7 PLC to run the pasteurization cycles complete with Siemens software and keypad, a low pasteurization temperature deviation circuit, with an alarm, a silencer button, warning lights, an auto/manual diverter and it is also equipped with a pneumatic panel to run the pilot solenoid valves.
